Introducing guest speaker: Sandra Teacher
Sandra Teacher is a highly experienced educational consultant with over 20 years of expertise in school inspections across early years, primary, secondary, special schools, and PRUs. Her inspection work includes quality assurance for service providers, ongoing early years inspections with Ofsted, and school inspections for the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), where she demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the ISSR.
Sandra has supported Department for Education (DfE) guidance on promoting Fundamental British Values and the Prevent Agenda, delivering national conferences on these topics with a focus on measuring the impact of SMSC. She has also contributed as an External Education Adviser for the DfE, assisting schools in developing high-quality education, particularly for Free Schools and Academies, with a focus on EYFS, safeguarding, and special education.
An accomplished educator, Sandra has served as a teacher, trainer, and lecturer at leading London teaching institutions, specialising in RE, EYFS, and primary education, with a particular focus on assessment. She is also an assessor for the RE Quality Mark.
In her consultancy work, Sandra provides expertise in school improvement, self-evaluation, and curriculum reviews across EYFS, primary, and secondary education. She is the School Improvement Partner for the Steiner Schools Fellowship and the Ruskin Mills Trust, which specialises in Practical Skills Therapeutic Education. Her international experience includes serving as an English consultant for a British International School in the Middle East, working with Cambridge and IB curricula.
Sandra is also a Thrive Licensed Practitioner and Trainer, reflecting her commitment to promoting emotional wellbeing and resilience in educational settings.
