The Trainer Conversion course deepens your understanding of the connections between emotional development across Early Years, Childhood, and Adolescence. You’ll explore how Thrive principles apply to different age groups, enabling you to adapt your training for a broader range of pupils’ needs. By attending this course, you’ll be able to extend your expertise and unlock the ability to deliver Thrive training to one or two additional age ranges.

Routes to becoming authorised
To become licensed to deliver Thrive courses across new age ranges, you will need to:
- Demonstrate your existing skills and experience.
- Complete all components of the conversion course.
- Participate in the required shadowing sessions.
Course structure
The course includes 11 hours of training sessions, focusing on the unique challenges and developmental needs of each age range. You’ll also attend two shadowing sessions where you can observe Thrive training in action. If you choose to upskill to two additional age ranges, more shadowing sessions will be required. These sessions are coordinated directly with you upon booking.
