Making children feel special and safe can have a knock-on effect on their behaviour, attendance and attainment. This is something that Jane Maynard, Thrive Mentor at Hillary Primary School caught onto early.

Based in Walsall in the West Midlands, Hillary Primary School celebrates the 'diverse completeness' of its community and embraces the uniqueness of its pupils and their backgrounds.
