    Introducing guest speaker: Dr Kirstie Rees

    Dr Kirstie Rees is a specialist educational and child psychologist with extensive experience in learning disabilities, neurodiversity, and mental health. She focuses on building capacity among teachers and school staff by providing practical training and consultation tailored to the realities of a busy school environment. Her training helps staff to understand and address the individual needs of pupils with SEND, whilst at the same time creating safe and inclusive learning environments. She has carried out research in the area of disabilities and has delivered training and workshops at conferences in the UK and oversees.

    Kirstie has written for SEN journals and magazines and is the author of the book: 'The Mental Health and Wellbeing of Children and Young People with Learning Difficulties: A Guide for Educators', published by Jessica Kingsley.
