Introducing guest speaker: Sarah Dillon

Sarah Dillon is an accredited therapist and Therapeutic Lead for the National Association of Therapeutic Parents (NATP) and the Centre of Excellence in Childhood Trauma. Specialising in attachment difficulties and developmental trauma, she consults for fostering agencies, schools and local authorities, delivering nationwide training for adoptive parents, foster carers and professionals.

An EMDR therapist, certified Havening practitioner, and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy-informed practitioner, Sarah is also an international keynote speaker and former Fostering Panel Chair. She is the author of Therapeutic Parenting Essentials, The Quick Guide to Therapeutic Parenting and The A-Z Therapeutic Parenting Professional Companion.

Drawing from her own experience as a former looked-after child, Sarah is passionate about supporting children and families. She is also a mother of four and a grandmother of five.
